Here's how to get a flat waist in a short amount of time. Now, obviously, the more overweight, the more time it may take you to get a small waist. But know this, follow these tips and your waist size will keep getting smaller and smaller. Seriously, all you need is to show a little focus and determination and a smaller waist is yours.
How to Get a Flat Waist
1. Focus on having protein in your diet at each meal and most snacks
I'm not going to give you a lecture on a high protein, low carb diet. I will say this though. You NEED TO EAT protein with each meal and at most if not all your snacks. Why? Two big reasons.
First, protein is widely known as an appetite suppressant. It naturally makes you want to eat less after you have protein. Take advantage of this. Carbs simply make you hungry for more since they're usually empty calories.
Second, protein has the unique ability to speed up your metabolism. Look at it this way. Eat protein more often and your body will be trained to burn off more calories... WHILE YOU DO NOTHING. Take these extra calories burned where you can get them.
If you can't think of any good snacks that have protein in them... here are a few of my personal favorites. String cheese, beef jerky, and low calorie yogurts.
2. Walk on an incline somehow
If you have a treadmill or go to a gym that has treadmills, walk on them. But incline them first. Even a slight incline of 15 degrees creates a massive tidal wave of fat loss. Don't be under the assumption that normal flat surface walking is the same as incline walking. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Do it once and you'll be a believer.
Do this walking 4-5 times a week for 20+ minutes each time.
